*PLEASE NOTE: It has been brought to our attention that many of you may be attending OTHER parties that night in costume. We want you to know that your participation is what we believe is important so don't let something like a little ol' costume stop you from joining us for a great time with some old (ouch!) friends.

It's time...

As we continue to grow older, we begin to reflect on what we have done over the years. We contemplate the good (and not so good) we may have done and wonder "Could we do more?". Well the answer is a resounding YES!!

This year at our reunion, we will be establishing the WALTRIP ALUMNI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND for the purpose of recognizing future Waltrip graduates and remembering those that have gone before. We will be holding a silent auction at the reunion in October to begin raising the necessary funds. In addition to the silent auction, you will be able to make donations to the scholarship fund from this webpage in the near future. Please join us in honoring our classmates who are no longer with us by establishing this perpetual scholarship fund for the future graduates of S.P. Waltrip Sr. High.

In addition to this website, we have created a Reunion Facebook page. If you are a member of facebook, you can become a fan and you will be able to receive automatic updates when new information is available. Facebook is also a great way to hook up with old classmates.

We realize not everyone is on facebook, however, so we will also post information on the Waltrip Home Page on classmates.com and use other forms of communication including snail mail and the Leader. If you are in contact with any of our former classmates, please let them know what is going on and pass on the information you receive. We want this to be the best reunion yet!!
